Day 13 The Traveling Tinkers

We arrived at Windrush Alpaca Farm in Clovis New Mexico 390 miles later and met with the owner. After we secured our space for the night, the owner invited us to do chores with him and tour the farm. We were given a bag of homemade oatmeal cookies for us,

and some alpaca treats for our new friends.  Dave toured and learned about alpacas, llamas, the one horse and one cow, the chickens, and cats that all occupy the farm. We met two other campers that are full timers in their rigs,  Brett and Lisa,

and Cynthia. We shared stories and got quite a few tips from Brett.  Brett is a photographer that does advertising photos shoots, Lisa conducts womens outback dirt bike and four wheeler tours.  Cynthia from Chicago just started on the nomad lifestyle.   Dave finally got a pair of alpaca insoles for his ski boots!!!    Great Harvest Host. Highly recommended.
