Day 21 The Traveling Tinkers

Today is the day that our other co-pilots Sean, Steffie and Cora) are to join us. They were picked up and driven to the airport at 6am. Thank you Christine for taking them and making sure all was in order.  They were excited and anxious, the dog was medicated to relax her, they had all their boarding passes and Cora's paperwork. Ready to go!!  Jet Blue was always our go to Airline for many reasons. This time was full of disappointment.  There were multiple delays.  Then once on the plane, and beginning to move on the tarmack, they captain advised that they were returning to the gate as there was a complaint and in order to keep his license he had to be drug tested. So, the plane returned to the gate. The pilot and co pilot had to get off for testing.  A few hours later, they were back, and the flight was taking off.  So after the multiple hour delay they were told, we are sorry but the wifi and the tv's are not working.  Later that afternoon the company sent an apology letter giving a $100 credit for a future flight due to all of the delays etc.    They did arrive, Cora did great on the plane, they were hungry and tired, but they arrived.  We heard all about the adventure, and they even managed to swim in the pool before bed.

Cora is not too sure about her other cousin dogs Quincy and Jasmine, and I don't think they are to keen about her either, but they are adjusting.  The entire day was spent waiting to find out if the plane was going to take off or not, it was frustrating for all of us.  When they arrived, Deb and Lam made a fantastic rib dinner, yum!
