Day 9 The TravelingTinkers
We rose early, had a quick breakfast,
and hopped on the bus to bring us downtown to Broadway, where all the music happens. We were dropped off at the Country Music Hall of fame and walked one block. Our first stop was to Tootsies,
which was recommended. There are three floors and a rooftop area. We started on the first floor, which was too crowded, and headed up to the next floor, we were entertained by a young fellow named PJ from Rochester, New York.
We were his only guests but we enjoyed the music of his set and when he finished we went upstairs to the roof top. The view and the weather were beautiful, but we couldn't hear the music, so we decided to move on.
Next we ventured to several, Jason Aldeens, Luke Bryans, and a few others, we skipped Kid Rock's as the music was too loud for us. We spent a little time in each one and were surprised that we were not hassled to purchase drinks in any of them.
Dave did enjoy a variety of beers as we strolled along.
It was fun to people watch, lots of eye candy for both of us.
We finished out the evening with a nice baby back barbeque rib wrap.
It was sad to see so many homeless people under the bridges, and on intersections and just about every corner, but this one guy, was honest about what he wanted money for.
We hopped the bus back to our campground and we were fast asleep once we arrived.
