Day 26 The Traveling Tinkers
We left Sequoia to head to our next adventure which was Yosemite National Park. 244 Miles later, we arrived. We did put on quite a few miles looking around the park before we settled in for the night. We stayed at Yosemite Pines campground in Groveland, CA. We set up late as we toured the park first up to Glacier point where we saw Half Dome and Glaciers. Fabulous views of the valley.
The boys made quick supper. Early to bed, early to rise. We were off touring early. Yosemite is Spectacular!!! These are just a few of our favorite pics, there are many beautiful areas, and next time we travel here, we will stay right inside the park (even tho reservations are a year in advance), they have rental bikes, beautiful picnic areas, a variety of things for families to do. We saw small hike trails and the rock scaling for the more adventurous. We did meet a couple who did scale a rock that day. Not for me. There are even those who will scale the rocks and set up hooks to lay on hammocks off the side of the mountain. At night you are able to see lights up on the side of the rocks from where the people are.
At the Campground
