The Traveling Tinkers - Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center
More than 200 years after Lewis and Clark marveled at that scenic beauty during their journey up the Missouri River, modern visitors are still marveling at all they see in Chamberlain. The Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, which is located at the Chamberlain rest area, on I-90 exit 24, is where one can stand on a bluff overlooking the river to feel Clarks observation come to life. It has interpretive panels, and murals which reconstruct the expedition journey. Inside the center, you can observe a replica keelboat and see a few other items that were helpful on their journey.
